Where I've Been — And What's Next

Newsletter — March 2026

I want to take a moment to update everyone on where I've been.

When I left the clinic in January 2026, I immediately enacted the non-compete clause in my contract. This means I cannot be involved in any operation that practices, produces, or is involved with chiropractic health care within a 25-mile radius of my former employer's clinic until January of 2028.

"Your body's your vehicle — and you have to keep it in motion."

So until January 2028 I will be practicing as a Locum Tenens doctor — think of it as a substitute doctor for another doctor who needs maternity leave, has to recover from a medical procedure, or needs vacation coverage. I now serve clients throughout the entire state of Indiana.

I've built an online headquarters at drmichaelray.health. With this site, we can maintain correspondence. I want to collaborate on health goals, address physical challenges, and build strategies for better performance output. Use me as a resource for information and troubleshooting of your health and fitness goals. We want people to live well, perform well, and feel good.

If you've worked with me over the years, you know I'm a home gym enthusiast. My current setup has served my personal needs for years and is fully equipped to meet the needs of clients as well.

Important Note

Because I must honor my non-compete, I am not practicing chiropractic in Evansville, IN at this time — that would fall within the 25-mile radius. What I can do is collaborate with you on nutrition, supplementation, and exercise for overall health and longevity. It's all about doing better — day after day, month after month, year after year.

The scheduling portal is now open.

Movement assessment and coaching sessions will determine needs and provide access to in-person training. Performance and wellness check-ins are available for those who want personalized plans to utilize on their own. Utilizing my expertise, I'm excited to step into new territory — moving from the clinical side toward performance and training, with the long-term goal of bringing them both together for everyone, at every skill level.

Thank you all for subscribing. I look forward to working with you and to a great future in chiropractic. The profession continues to evolve as information is more easily shared and better trained physicians enter the workforce. The Tri-State Region deserves outstanding care. When everyone succeeds — the community does better. Stay tuned.
